As a provider of wander management solutions, we understand that our potential customers may not always be experts in the technical workings of our systems. While prospects may have a general idea of what our RFID-based security systems aim to achieve, it's not uncommon for them to feel a little lost when it comes to the specifics.

That's why we've taken it upon ourselves to provide a simplified overview of our LC 1400 ResidentGuard wandering system. By breaking down the technical jargon into more understandable terms, we hope to make the process of choosing the right solution for your needs a little less daunting. So, if you're looking for wander management solutions, we're here to help guide you through every step of the way!

Our Wander Management Solution Components & Functions

Here is the basic description of system functionality, and the components used:

The LC 1400

The LC 1400 System is a modern solution designed to monitor the movement of residents. This system is an update to the current LC 1200 and works with existing systems. The system consists of the LC Controller Unit, Magnetic Switch, Keypad, Power Supply & Cable Kit, which work together to alert personnel of any possible egress by monitored residents. With the use of RFID tags, the system is easy to operate and the tags can be worn on the wrist or ankle. These tags feature an LED light to indicate they are operational. The Secure Tag Activator/Deactivator (STAD) handheld device can activate these tags making integration into existing security protocols a breeze.

The system operates by detecting when a resident enters a monitored zone, such as a door or elevator. Once detected, it sends a signal to the LC Controller Unit, which then initiates the appropriate control measures. The system can be seamlessly integrated with delayed egress magnetic locks, which can automatically lock doors or sound alarms. Furthermore, the alarms will not sound until the door is opened, thereby reducing false alarms. To reset the alarm, the correct "reset code" must be entered on the keypad at the location of the event. This reinforces the significance of security as an ongoing process. By offering this updated security solution, Accutech Security remains the cutting-edge in wander management for skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and rehab healthcare facilities nationwide.
